The 10th graders headed to Boston April 4th – or they tried to. The Boston trip was “wicked” fun, but came with a couple of curve balls. Day 1: flights were canceled due to weather over the weekend. While flights were rescheduled for Thursday morning, it wasn’t a traditional start to a class trip.

Throughout the trip sophomores participated in lots of different activities including tours of colleges, museums, and historical sites. Students visited the Freedom Trail, Salem, and the JFK memorial library, MIT, and even Harvard.

While the itinerary changed somewhat due to the rearranged flight, the CDS Patriots were able to pull through and have a great time on their trip. Everyone was able to enjoy the time with friends and the great activities Mrs. O’Neill put together for the trip.

When asked what his favorite part of the trip was, sophomore Elijah L. said that it was the “bus rides”. Ethan H. and he said it was “Fenway Park and being able to hang out with my friends.”

This trip was an amazing opportunity to spend time with classmates, while still being able to learn about history.
