The students in Mrs. Santiago’s advisory are showing their appreciation for their teachers and peers this week. Students are writing letters of appreciation, dedicated to the faculty at CDS, to show their gratitude and support. Even though many are bombarded with midterm preparation during this time, everyone was eager to write cards.

Sophomore Adassa P. was one of the students who wrote a gratitude letter to a teacher. “I thought it was a very loving gesture and it creates a nice sense of positivity through these stressful times. Teachers have to grade and we have midterms and a lot of tests. I think it’s a thoughtful and caring thing to do.”
