Does Location Make a Difference?

Olive Garden is an Italian themed restaurant, most known for their menu with a variety of Italian cuisine from different pastas, salmon or even steak. We were greeted by a polite hostess who guided us to a booth. The restaurant was not busy during the week but if you go on a weekend there may be a wait.

First, we ordered a strawberry lemonade which tasted extremely refreshing. Next I ordered the famous garden salad mixed with Italian dressing that has an outstanding flavor. The salad is also served with warm breadsticks. Their calamari is $11.79 for a medium size plate. The calamari is delectable and has a soft texture. It is served with marinara sauce and spicy ranch, creating a delicious flavor. The spicy ranch is not extremely spicy but does have a kick of flavor. Next, we tried the chicken tortelloni alfredo. The alfredo sauce is perfectly creamy and the tortelloni was al dente; not mushy or stiff. When you get an entrée you have the option to take another entrèe home for $6. These include: five cheese ziti, fettuccine alfredo, or spaghetti with meat sauce. Before 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, you can get a lunch sized entre for $7.99. The food is very inexpensive with great deals throughout the week.

Overall, the service was satisfactory and our waiter was very polite. The waiter seemed very experienced and successfully brought everything we asked in a timely manor, while also checking on us periodically. This restaurant is very well known and promising compared to those similar to it which may not have similar quality food. I would give the Citrus Park Olive Garden 4 out of 5 stars and recommend this restaurant for families looking for a simple meal with inexpensive prices.
