Chuck Lager Review

When first walking into the restaurant it automatically feels very cozy but at the same time a somewhat rustic feeling because of the design of the restaurant. You are greeted by one of the servers to seat you inside or outside, your choice. Reservations can be made, though you do not have to have one. In my experience, all the waiters and waitresses are very kind, know the restaurant and how to do their job well.

The menu for Chuck Lager is a medium-large menu with many different options, mostly American food. I decided to order some of the more popular items off the menu, for example The Giant Pretzel – which is one of my favorite things on the menu. It is a giant soft pretzel that comes with two dipping sauces, one cheese sauce and one sweet somewhat savory sauce; both are very good and go great with the pretzel. I also ordered a truffle mushroom flatbread which I personally did not care for, but if you’re a fan of strong truffle flavors it might be your new go-to.

Another popular menu item I ordered was the Guinness Fish and Chips – a delicious fried tilapia fish with their famous truffle fries, served with an amazing homemade tartar sauce.

The famous MT Kilimanjaro burger is a large double patty burger with bacon, caramelized onions, and garlic aioli – by far one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. It has the perfect amount of meat, but just enough fresh ingredients to balance everything.

In the end, I think Chuck Lager is a great restaurant option if you are looking for filling, hearty food. The service is great, all the servers are very friendly and welcoming, and often stop by to see if all is well at your table. If you’re alone, with friends, or with family and looking for a bite to eat, I would definitely recommend Chuck Lager.
