On Tuesday, April 4, 2023, the CDS Flag Football team celebrated Senior Night honoring Valentina T. Valentina is the only senior on the team and she is a dedicated player. In the game, CDS battled Bell Creek in an exhilarating game. The team was successful and rusher Audrey M. had various sacks against the Bell Creek quarterback. CDS was scored on in the second quarter of the game and prevented Bell Creek from scoring the extra point. Quarterback Francesca M. was able to communicate many plays with the other offensive players. The CDS players battled long and hard through the duration of the game. In the end, the Patriots were defeated 12-0. The team is practicing daily in preparation for the district tournament. Their first game will be the district quarterfinals on Monday April 17th, 2023.
